Energy Drinks : It Was Bound To Happen

by Dave Esposito

Nestled in the quiet confines of terrains of bliss, calm and relaxation, Germans are rudely being woken up, shaken and surprised by a most disturbing creature, place of origin unknown.

Take the family of four who decided to pack their suitcases, coolers brimming with lager and two, almost adult kids, each a boy, about fourteen and fifteen years of age, who decided to get away from the city life for a two day weekend. All scenarios resulted with the usual expectations as they had numerous experience previously when they took the same journey, in pursuit of fresh air, rolling landscapes and anywhere a phone couldn't get to them.

All things seemed perfectly normal. Their vintage automobile pushed into the corners of a climbing hillside, burning the tires every now and then. The boys were deeply asleep with dreams of who knows what, but since one developed some drool dripping from the shadow of his lips, one might guess his thoughts were of conquests and pleasure not yet experienced.

Helen, mom, also was in a bottomless slumber, perhaps caused by the thick buzzing of the engine of the car heaving itself up yet another car-eating hill.

It is only thanks to the evidently, hidden camera, ironically perfectly positioned to capture what was to unfold. Perhaps, a fluke being the same day K-fee energy drink was to be introduced to the country. What was clearly meant to be a commercial representing a peaceful setting was unfortunately thrust into the epitome of a scary German energy drink commercial , maybe 180 degrees in the opposite direction of all plans, rehearsals, and run-throughs.

No one could have planned it, and unless there were eyewitness reports, the good people of Germany may not be panically pacing, laying awake and up at all hours completely perplexed and stunned by what was recorded. Although there is video evidence, to date, German authorities have kept quiet about what has transpired that day. Perhaps to cover it up, or act like it never was captured on film, but one thing is for certain, Germany will not ever be the same again. The invasion has begun.

Naturally higher than a kite on most days, Dave is known as the fellow who likes to drink energy drinks and has been captivating a growing audience every time an energy drink is pressed to his lips. To note, you are invited, while the fun continue.
