Build Muscle And Burn Fat - How To Achieve That

by Rex Freiberger

Nowadays people are becoming increasingly aware of their health. More and more people, therefore, are taking help of fitness programs. There are hundreds of fitness experts available in almost every city. Gymnasiums are everywhere. People have realized that staying healthy is not only about looking good; it is also about preventing the occurrence of heart diseases.

Our hectic lifestyle does not sometimes permit us to take some time out for our body. Going to the gym is of course beneficial. But is it the 'complete' solution to building a good body? The fact is that unless you tailor your schedule and diet in such a way that your body responds to them, you will never succeed in gaining muscle.

In order to build muscle and burn fat there are two things that need to be considered. One, you need to alter your diet. Food gives the body energy. If the food we eat is not in the right amounts or the right type of food, we will never be able to gain muscle.

Weight-training is essential for building muscle. Research has proved that for gaining mass (or muscle), one has to include weight-training in his schedule. Professional bodybuilders have amazing physiques only because they eat 'huge' and exercise properly. What is the right diet for building muscle and burning fat? What kind of exercises should be performed for 'bulking up'?

Our body has eight important parts- chest, back, shoulders, triceps, biceps, legs, fore-arms and "abs". If you want to 'bulk-up', you must design a work-out schedule in such a way that you train one body part daily. Over-training will never help you build muscle and burn fat. Moreover, the role of cardiovascular exercises must never be ignored. For a person who wants to gain muscle-mass, it is important to perform cardiovascular exercises after workout.

To build muscle, weight lifters must consume two grams of protein for each kilogram of body-weight daily. Carbohydrates should also be eaten in the correct portions if one wishes to build muscle and burn fat. Lean meat, like chicken breasts, and foods such as eggs, whey protein, soybeans, olive oil, bean curd, fresh vegetables, whole oats and brown rice are imperative if you aim to build muscle and burn fat. Avoid foods that have a high concentration of fat, such as butter, red meat, cooking oils and processed foods.

If you spend time at the gym but fail to properly structure your routine and eating habits so your body can respond to your work, you will never build muscle. In order to burn fat and build muscle you need to alter your diet. If the food we eat is not in the right amounts, we will never be able to gain muscle. In order to build muscle, weight training is a necessity. You will not build muscle and burn fat by over training body parts. You must have carbohydrates, and stay away from foods with a lot of fat, such as red meat and junk food.
