How to stop sweaty feet - using tea?

by Robert Sinclair

If you ever wondered how to stop sweaty feet you're at the right place. We'll explain a couple of methods that people have used to stop sweaty feet, one of them is 100% free. Care for some black tea? I'm not talking about drinking this delicious drink, I mean submerging your hands or feet in it. It works like a charm for some people or so they say. It has a blocking effect on sweat glands. I've had some interesting results with black tea myself. Heat up a large enough amount (usually 1 pint) of water and drop 2-3 tea bags in it. Wait until the water becomes luke warm, use some cold water to speed up the process. Soak your hands or feet in it for 30 minutes. For a faster effect you should then drink the tea. Just joking you can dispose of it after wards. You can try doing it daily for 1 week and then reducing it to 2-3 times a week. Wash your feet with antibacterial soap in warm water, it will remove the black tea stains. You can also try rubbing your feet with pumice stone, it's flattens the rough skin areas that retain bacteria and stains. The anti bacterial soap should be used more by people that have sweating feet.

It is the bacteria on the soles of your feet that cause the bad odor. Use a good brand of anti bacterial soap to combat the smell. Bacteria make massive colonies on your feet. Your feet are the perfect breeding grounds because of the lack of light and moisture. That's why it's a bad idea to wear polymer and synthetic socks. They will soak in the moisture. Drop them like a bad habit and buy some organic cotton ones instead. You will see the difference almost immediately, they move moisture away from the body. Some people become so desperate with the sweating feet and the smell that they have them surgically removed.

You can do a number of things on those pesky glands. You can cut, clamp or even burn them away, but there are certain risks involved with this procedure. You risk compensation sweat. Which means that if you remove glands in one place, your body will produce more in another. It is only recommended for people who are seriously handicapped by the excessive sweating (sweating feet). Consult your physician first before making the decision.

Some people even use electrical shocks to treat sweating. This solution was patented by the Drionic brand. It's a method that's supposed to block the sweat glands for a certain time. The time frame depends on how thick your skin is and how your body conducts electricity. Even though it sounds pretty fancy, it's not a universal solution. I'm sure you can find something less painful and just as effective. Thank you for reading, hopefully you were able to learn a few things about methods used to stop sweating.
