How to Maintain Young Looking Skin Through Exercising One's Face
Our face is the first thing people look at first glance. People tend to remember faces more than they can remember names. So if your face leaves a lasting impression, we have to make sure that we always look our best!
Aging is something inevitable and this is manifested and can actually be seen in the skin. The skin will lose its glow and suppleness that people drink supplements or opt to surgery for that to not happen. These operations and supplements are said to help in maintaining your skin young looking however they can be quite costly and may also be painful. Since they are costly, people who can't afford these methods may think that they no longer have the chance to keep their skin young and renewed.
The good thing is that there are actually free ways on maintaining young looking skin especially on one's face. And that is through facial exercises which one can do everyday without the need to pay anyone. Add to that the fact that you can do them at home.
The first tip is to drink lots of fluids daily, preferably water of about eight glasses. Water is good for one's body since it improves oxygen and blood circulation, thus encouraging the development of new skin. Thus, if your skin is well hydrated, then you are sure to have nice skin. With lots of water supply, you are also sure that the toxins in your body are removed especially during perspiration, and this mechanism helps in making your skin beautiful.
Second, exercising daily should also be done. Aside from the fact that exercise makes you healthy, it also keeps you happy. Through exercising, oxygen and good blood circulation are again achieved allowing the body to be renewed. With the proper circulation of oxygen and blood, the functions of the body are also able to perform at best including development of new hormones and cells. The old skin cells are removed by the new cells making the skin look young and new. After exercising, effects include an improvement in one's predisposition and a happy feeling.
Like all other body parts we can also exercise the face. There is really nothing much to it. The facial exercises are so easy to do and it just takes a few minutes to accomplish them. What you need to do is develop the discipline to do the exercises everyday so that you will enjoy its lifetime results.
Facial exercises are best done after washing the face or after taking a bath. This is the time when skin is most hydrated, well relaxed and soft. You should use jojoba oil or any facial lotion or cream when exercising. You should place it in your hands and with the use of your palms, you should massage from your forehead to your temples in circular motion; both in the upper and lower parts and this should be done twice.
Then with your 3 middle fingers of both hands start with rotating them on your temples gently moving upward to the scalp. Do this procedure 3 times. Press your eyebrows using your middle and index fingers starting from the nose bridge going the opposite direction. Repeat 3 times. Then use your right hand and sweep your forehead towards the opposite direction. Alternate with your left hand and repeat this routine 3 times. Do these exercises everyday and eventually you will feel your skin getting taut, soft and young looking.
