A lot of people have no idea what a left-handed keyboard is, or even know that such a keyboard actually exists. Left-handed people are not prevalent in society. Roughly about 90 percent of the adult population is right handed. Thus implements and most of today's tools and equipment are designed specifically for right handed use. Though this is not in general a problem for left-handed people, they simply adjust by using right-handed equipment when needed.
By replacing the alphanumeric keys to the left side of the keyboard the left handed user can now conveniently use it just like how right handed people use the normal keyboard. This also allows the southpaw to relocate the mouse to the left side allowing a more fluid control for them without straining their wrist and shoulders.

And since southpaws also play video games using their keyboard, this will naturally improve their gaming experience by leaps and bounds since the mouse is now closer to the keypads narrowing down or even completely wiping out the advantage versus right handed gamers armed with the usual keyboard.
Some versions of left-handed keyboards even go as far as adapting the layout for both right and left-handed individuals by allotting alpha numeric keypads in both the left and right portions of the keyboards. Thus anyone can use the keyboard, but they are not widespread and suffer from the need of increased desk space.
Left-handed users, will enjoy increased productivity afforded them by left-handed keyboards, and gamers will enjoy increased performance for their gaming needs. Above all, with this setup, lefties won't have to worry of shoulder problems brought about by using the normal keyboard!
The left handed keyboard is specially designed for the lefties who find it hard to use the normal pad specifically made for right handed users. When using the usually keyboard, left handed people tend to hurt or stress their wrist and shoulder as they type and use the mouse.
